We all know how to say “thank you” and “you’re welcome.” If you want to add some color to your English here are some alternatives!


Thank you

1. I owe you (one)

2. I couldn’t have done it without you

3. You’re the best!

4. You’re a lifesaver!

5. That’s very kind of you

6. I can’t thank you enough

7. Many thanks

8. I appreciate you taking the time to help me

9. I appreciate all of you help

10. I’m so grateful (for your help)



You’re welcome

1. My pleasure

2. No worries

3. Sure thing!

4. Anytime

5. Not at all

6. It was nothing

7. (I'm) Happy to help!

8. Don’t mention it

9. No problem

10. You got it!


All of these phrases are just another way to communicate gratitude and that it wasn’t an inconvenience for you to help. Go ahead, try one of these responses the next time you want to say “thank you!” or “you’re welcome!”
